Thank you for a fun and productive season at the Avery House Garden!
Together, we donated well over 70 hours of labor to the garden amending soil, weeding, pruning, transplanting, refreshing tired plants, adding new drought tolerant perennials appropriate to the period and watering.
At the going rate of $40/ hour for a gardener in our area, this represents a donation of about $3,000 to the Avery Memorial Association and to the Town of Groton.
